Meeting notes for the May 5th Village Board meeting are now available in the info-center. Some of the highlights of the meeting are:

• Closed-session: I raised concerns at the meeting that the meeting agenda didn’t disclose the subject of the closed session, contrary to the WI Attorney General’s Legal Guidance on Closed Sessions. The closed session, at the end of the meeting, lasted an hour and a half.
• The changes to the Floodplain Zoning went smoothly. The changes were mostly needed for floodplain lands to continue to qualify for flood insurance.
• Vicki Schneider finished off her Master of Municipal Clerks (MMC) designation. Congrats Vicki !
• Beth Carpenter had interesting comments on the Fox Cities Book Festival (including some videos available on YouTube) and other Library initiatives.
